2010 District & Region Tournaments (NYWA State qualifiers)

**note location & time change for Rochester Individual Regional.

Wildcard Region for 2010 is New London/Spicer. This means the top 4 from this region will qualify for NYWA State, whereas, the other 4 regions will advance the top 3 wrestlers in each weight class.

** QUALIFICATION PROCESS:
All age groups MUST go through the qualification process to go to NYWA State. Wrestlers must first attend an NYWA District Qualifier. If that wrestler places either 1st or 2nd in his/her weight class, then he/she will advance to regions. You MUST advance to the region that the district you qualified at is in (i.e. Austin qualifiers must attend the Rochester Region). Once at regions, you must place in the top 3 of your weight class (unless you are in the wildcard region, which advances the top 4 in each weight class). Then those who have qualified at regions for state are eligible to attend the NYWA State Tournament. If you have questions about the qualification process - please email our office. Thank you.
